Nestled in a quiet, lush valley 9 miles from Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay Division, Area 31  is a peaceful and friendly organic farm with great camping options.

Situated immediately by the main road to Pyin Oo Lwin, access to Area 31 is a breeze. Furthermore the road underwent great improvements in 2022 while the local government have promised to pave the remaining 500 meters or so by late 2023.

A number of projects were executed in 2022 while others are still in the works.

Apart from vegetable gardens and strawberry fields, a unique treehouse restaurant is being built while excavation for a natural swimming pond is also being undertaken.

If you are a fan of mushrooms, amazing experiments with fermentation and many other things, you will definitely find something to your liking here.

The farm’s total area of 31 acres gives plenty of space for walks, privacy and space for children to explore and go on treasure hunts in the name of learning about fauna and flora.

It is very likely that Area 31 will be expanded with many more acres in 2023 and thus become an even larger area with many more opportunities for activities and facilities.   

As of April 2023, we are in talks with several international schools in Mandalay Region. Together we wish to occasionally take students out of the comfort of the classroom in immerse them in nature where they through treasure hunts and practical approaches will get to learn many new things – in a completely different and more holistic way.
